Last minute advice ahead of Vasaloppet's Summer Week 2022

Just days left until the start of Vasaloppet's Summer Week 2022! Here are some things to consider before your race.

1. Health and safety first!

Regardless of which race you are registered for, don’t come to the start if you are in any way sick, and make sure to get lots of energy and fluids into your system before, during and after your race.

If you’re participating in a bike race, watch our information about safe cycling ahead of time.

2. Read the race description and keep an eye out for your start certificate

If this is your first time participating in the race, please read the information under ”Our races” here at vasaloppet.se. It will give you a clear picture of what’s to come, for example in terms of course profile and surfaces.

The start certificate will be sent to your email address, so keep an eye out. It contains important information and you will need it when you collect your number bib.

3. Take the bus or carpool

Travel to the start in an environmentally smart way and help us reduce traffic on the Vasaloppet road. Our tip is to buy a bus ticket in advance, as the number of seats is limited.

4. Zero tolerance for littering

Take care of nature! Dispose of litter in bins or in the marked litter zones. If you litter in other places in the Vasaloppet Arena, you may get a 15 minute time addition.

5. Get home safely

Travel home by train or bus or let someone else drive. Do not get behind the wheel yourself before you are properly rested.
