Here are recommendations and tips for those participating in Vasaloppet and for those traveling by car to support a participant.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Travel together to the start<\/strong><br>Choose Vasaloppet\u2019s official buses as your first option and carpooling as your second. If bus tickets are sold out, try to share a ride with friends. You can also look for travel companions via the carpooling app Nabogo.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Allow extra travel time<\/strong><br>If you are driving to the start, expect traffic to move very slowly and there to be a high risk of queues. With heavy traffic, the journey from Mora to the start area in S\u00e4len may take around 2.5 hours or more. From Tand\u00e5dalen, the trip may take about 1.5 hours\u00a0\u2013 possibly even longer due to snowfall and snow clearance operations.\u00a0In addition, you need to factor in the time required for parking and walking to the start. Remember that parking attendants are there to help everyone\u2014please follow their instructions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Park wisely if you are supporting a participant<\/strong><br>If you plan to follow a participant along Vasaloppsv\u00e4gen, be aware that traffic may move very slowly. There are parking areas at the checkpoints in M\u00e5ngsbodarna, Evertsberg, Oxberg and H\u00f6kberg. Apart from these, parking opportunities along Vasaloppsv\u00e4gen are very limited. It is not permitted to drive into the checkpoints at Sm\u00e5gan and Eldris.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Important! Always leave access for emergency vehicles<\/strong><br>For everyone\u2019s safety, respect no-parking zones\u2014ambulances, police and other essential services must always be able to get through.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Another tip for you as a Vasaloppet participant is to collect your race bib before Sunday\u2014if possible. This allows you to attach the labels to warm skis, read the information in the bib envelope, and prepare the evening before, giving you a calmer morning at the start area.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"\">Good
