Funkisvasan is a running race aimed at individuals with disabilities.
Rules
Funkisvasan is an exercise race where no winner is crowned.
Minimum age
Everyone can participate. Funkisvasan has no age limit.
Time limit
The finish closes at about 16.00.
Club Membership
If you are a member of a club, you can represent it; otherwise, you represent the place where you live.
Preparation
Start list
In the start list, you will find all participants registered for our races.
Collect start number and data chip
All participants must wear a start number bib and data chip, even if you are participating without timekeeping.
Start numbers and data chips for Funkisvasan can be collected at the race office in Mora from Friday, August 15, 2025 until start.
Attach the chip to a suitable place from the waist down, as low as possible.

- Start number to be attached to your chest and back using safety pins. Fill in your information on the back of the start number. The start number may not be removed during the race.
- Chip with velcro strap to be attached to a suitable place from the waist down, as low as possible.
What to do with your clothes
Bring your bag or backpack with change of clothes to the start. There you put it in a marked place, so you can pick it up after the race.

The start
The start and finish take place at the Vasaloppet finish in Mora. The first start is at 14:00.
How the start works
The start pens open at 13:30.
You can choose from three different start groups:
Start group 1 – motorised without timekeeping
Start at 14:00.
No timekeeping. Roll with the help of a motorised vehicle for people with disabilities.
Start group 2 – roll or walk with timekeeping
Start at 14:05.
With timekeeping. Walk, run, roll in a wheelchair without physical assistance from an aide.
Start group 3 – roll or walk without timekeeping
Start at 14:10.
No timekeeping. Walk, run, roll in a wheelchair or electric wheelchair. Physical help from an aide is allowed.
During the race
The course is 4 kilometres long and marked with ribbons. It goes around the Moraparken campsite and partially follows the Vasaloppet track.

To ensure everyone can participate at their own pace, please be considerate and leave the left side of the course free for faster participants.
The Vasaloppet Arena is a nature reserve and is subject to the right of public access. It is forbidden to litter in the arena. Those caught will be penalised with a time penalty. Dispose of your litter at the checkpoints, or take it with you to the finish. Take care of our arena and nature!
Service
There are toilets and medical services at the start and in the finish area.
Liquid is available at one checkpoint during the race, and at the finish line after the race.
Abort the race
If you abort your race, you must contact a functionary, who will take care of your chip and report your withdrawal to the finish.
The finish closes
The finish closes at about 16.00.
Afterwards
When you reach the finish, you will be offered liquid refreshment in the finish area.
Medal and diploma
All participants receive a medal immediately after finishing, and a diploma can be collected at Mora-Nisse’s House in the finish area. You can have your medal engraved with the year, your name and finishing time. You can buy the engraving on-site or purchase it in advance on My pages.
