Start number, bib and data chip
Welcome to Vasaloppet winter week 2026!
You have just received the starting kit for the race you will participate in and here you can find a translation of what it contains. Select in the list below.
The bag contains
1. Medical informationScan the code and fill in medical information on My Pages at vasaloppet.se 2. Start number
The start number should be worn, and clearly visible, when you enter the start pen. 3. Ski labels (2 stickers)
Attach the labels with your start number to the front of your skis when they are dry and warm. 4. Luggage label (sticker)
Attach the label to your luggage so we can identify and sort it. Pack your bag so it’s waterproof. 5. Sack and label
Attach the label to the sack, which you can use for coveralls. Seal the sack by tying it shut. If you do not want the contents back, you can check the box to give them to charity. 6. Chip with velcro strap
Thread the velcro strap through the chip and attach to your right ankle. The chip is used for timekeeping and it’s connected to your start number. The chip must be returned directly after the finish. Participants who do not return their chip will be charged 500 SEK.

Each team gets five start numbers, one for each section. The number of the section is in red, to the right of the start number. The start number should be worn, and clearly visible, when you enter the start pen. 3. Sacks and labels
Participants on sections 1 and 2 can use their sacks for coveralls. Attach the labels to these and seal by tying it shut. If you do not want the contents back, you can check the box to give them to charity. 4. Chip with velcro strap
There are five chips. The chips are not connected to specific sections so they can be distributed freely within the team, so that each participant has one.
