Traffic
There is very heavy traffic on the roads this weekend, and due to snowfall and snow clearance operations, the traffic situation is especially strained.

Updates about the Vasaloppet Arena
Snow has fallen and will continue to fall throughout the day. Vasaloppet will deploy both snow groomers and snowmobiles to reset the tracks during the race, but conditions will remain soft in the tracks – expect a day to remember!
Eat and drink at every checkpoint, and make sure to encourage one another out there. Good luck!

Time limits Vasaloppet
15:00: Cutoff times are extended by one hour
Today the snow conditions are tough! The cutoff times in Evertsberg, Oxberg, Hökberg, and Eldris are extended by one hour, and the finish line will remain open longer.

Tips
- Take care of nature and avoid a 15-minute time penalty – throw your trash in the designated waste zones, not along the track!
- Change bags are stored outdoors in Mora. Therefore, pack your spare clothes in sealed plastic bags before putting them in your bag, so you’ll have dry clothes to look forward to after the race.

Enter an emergency contact number before you start your race.
Before your race, enter the name and phone number of the person we can contact if something happens to you. Previously this information was written by hand on a sticker inside of your start number, but now only digital registration applies. Except for Stafettvasan, where you must fill in and wear a bracelet with your details.
