Book bus tickets

The registration fee includes all bus transports during the race, but tickets for Mora–The Vasaloppet Start, Mora–Mångsbodarna, The Vasaloppet Start–Mångsbodarna, Mora–Terminal Oxberg and Terminal Oxberg–Mora must be booked. See the Bus to start page to book bus tickets.

We recommend that everyone on section 1 travels with our buses to the start. To exchange for section 2 and 5, it is mandatory to take the bus, as it is prohibited to park or stop with a car at the Mångsbodarna and Hökberg exchange.

The following bus trips must be booked in advance:

• Mora–The Vasaloppet Start (to the start of section 1)
• Mora–Mångsbodarna (to the exchange for section 2)
• The Vasaloppet Start–Mångsbodarna (to the exchange for section 2)
• Mora–Terminal Oxberg
• Terminal Oxberg–Mora

After section 1, buses from Mångsbodarna return to Sälen and Mora. On the way to Mora, it is possible to get off in Evertsberg. After section 2, buses from Evertsberg return to Sälen. These are not booked in advance; you can simply board the bus.

Transport tips during the race

It is a mandatory that everyone takes the bus to and from the exchange in Hökberg, buses leave from Mora or from the bus terminal in Oxberg. It is also not possible/allowed to stop and drop off participants at the entrances up to Hökberg.

From Terminal Oxberg, buses run to and from the Stafettvasan relay exchanges. Teams that travel by car can park here and take a free bus to the exchanges.

What to do with your clothes

The team has received two plastic sacks to pack clothes in, one for section 1 and one for section 2. The plastic sacks are marked with the team’s start number. Keep your change of clothes dry with an extra plastic bag inside your bag when you send it with our transportation trucks.

Section 1
We recommend packing your change of clothes in a backpack, and putting that backpack in the plastic sack. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure the plastic sack is left in the designated location at the start area. The organizers will transport the sack to Mångsbodarna.
When you’ve skied your section you will collect the plastic sack at the designated location before going on the bus back to Sälen, or on to Evertsberg (continuing to Mora for those who want).

Section 2
We recommend packing your change of clothes in a backpack, and putting that backpack in the plastic sack. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure the plastic sack is left in the designated location at the change over in Mångsbodarna. The organizers will transport the sack to Evertsberg. In Evertsberg the plastic sack can be collected at the designated location.

Section 3–5
All participants handle transporting their own clothes. Our advice is to either give your coveralls to the person you are exchanging with or carry them in a backpack during your section.

Ski depository and change of clothes

Once you’ve crossed the finish line, leave your skis at the ski depository in the finish area. Afterwards, you will be offered drink and snack in the finish area.

Showers are available at Prästholmens IP. Free buses run regularly between the finish area and the shower facilities. Follow the directions from functionaries and you won’t go wrong. It is not permitted to take skis with you on the bus to shower.

When you’ve showered, the bus will take you back to the finish area and the ski depository.
