During Vasaloppet Bike Festival, 3–9 August 2026 in Lindvallen, a packed programme of activities awaits the whole family. There is something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist. Join an exciting social ride, or listen to an interesting talk. Gain new knowledge and let yourself be inspired by the industry and its key figures. Vasaloppet Bike Festival offers the perfect all-round experience alongside your participation in Cykelvasan.
Our cycling races
Vasaloppet’s summer week starts on the Friday with Cykelvasan 30 and Cykelvasan 45, both starting in Oxberg, and with Cykelvasan Öppet Spår, 95 kilometres from Sälen. On Saturday, the main event Cykelvasan 90 takes place, attracting thousands of registered participants and starting at the classic Vasaloppet start in Berga by in Sälen.

Vasaloppet Bike Expo – 5–7 August
Meet cyclists, suppliers and key profiles – thousands of cycling enthusiasts – and experience mountain biking at its best. Here you can test and see the latest cycling products on the market, develop your riding skills at inspiring clinics ahead of your race, and enjoy shows, competitions and entertainment in a packed activity programme.
This is also where you collect your race number before your event.
Activities
Cykelvasasprinten
Cykelvasasprinten is a thrilling and exciting event during the Bike Festival. On a spectator-friendly, fun and technical course of approximately one kilometre, competitors battle it out for glory and prize money.
Afterbike
What is a day on the bike without an afterbike? During Vasaloppet Bike Festival, we invite you to afterbike on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Vasaloppet Bike Expo. The perfect place to enjoy music, share cycling stories and race reports.
Clinics and Social rides
Ride together in beautiful mountain surroundings or gain new knowledge about the latest techniques. Every day there are opportunities for rides that offer both experience and a sense of community.
The rides are tailored to different levels and abilities.
Barnens Vasalopp
On Wednesday and Thursday, children’s own Cykelvasa is held on the playful cycling trail Joyride in Bike Park Trail, and the children choose for themselves how many laps they want to do.
