Vasaloppet and Worldloppet – stamp your pass in Dalarna
With a personal Worldloppet passport you can collect official stamps from every race you complete.
Vasaloppet was one of the eight original races when the Worldloppet Ski Federation was founded in 1978 – and is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the series. Together we work to inspire skiers around the world to get moving and make their way to Dalarna.
What is Worldloppet?
The Worldloppet Ski Federation was founded on 10 June 1978 in Uppsala and brings together the world’s greatest cross-country skiing marathons. The goal is for more people to experience the joy of cross-country skiing – along historic trails and in stunning nature.
The Worldloppet passport
With a personal Worldloppet passport you can collect official stamps from every race you complete. Complete races in at least 10 countries – with at least one on another continent – and you earn the title of Worldloppet Master. Today there are more than 16,000 passport holders around the world. The passport also gives you benefits at Worldloppet race destinations.
The passport is a personal document that records every Worldloppet race you complete. It contains a dedicated page for each race in the series and once you finish a race you collect your official stamp at the race office – your proof of completion.
Stamp in your passport – four races that count
Four races in the Vasaloppet programme give you a stamp in your Worldloppet passport: Vasaloppet, Öppet Spår Sunday, Öppet Spår Monday 90 and Nattvasan 90.
