Booking for Vasaåket 2021 is open
An open arena and the possibility of completing Vasaåket whenever you want between February 12 and March 7 on location in the Vasaloppet Arena. That's the concept when Vasaloppet's Winter Week 2021 is cancelled and replaced with a covid-safe alternative. Booking for Vasaåket is now open, welcome!
In order to continue as a driving force for exercise and public health in a safe way during the ongoing pandemic, Vasaloppet is opening its 90-kilometre Vasaloppet Arena between Sälen and Mora as a facility. With a number of precautions, everyone is invited to complete Vasaåket on location, based on the applicable Swedish guidelines.
Vasaåket 2021 has four distances – 10, 30, 45 and 90 km – which can be completed from Friday, February 12 up until Sunday, March 7.

Replacing Vasaloppet’s Winter Week 2021, Vasaåket will be held over the course of 24 days, allowing skiers to complete Vasaåket when it suits them best:
The only races that will run this winter in the Vasaloppet Arena are Tjejvasan, Vasaloppet and Ungdomsvasan. A limited number of skiers can start in these races. All other skiers are welcomed to Vasaåket which can be completed between February 12th and March 7th.
