Eva-Lena Frick appointed new CEO of Vasaloppet
The board members of Vasaloppsföreningen Sälen-Mora and Vasaloppets Marknads AB have appointed Eva-Lena Frick, 54 and currently CEO of Vätternrundan, as the new CEO of Vasaloppet.
Eva-Lena has a highly solid background. She is a former national team skier who competed in the 1984 Olympics and several World Championships during the 80s. She has participated in Vasaloppet, Tjejvasan, Halvvasan, as well as Stafettvasan and Vasastafetten.
Eva-Lena has been a board member of the Swedish Ski Association and the Swedish Orienteering Federation. Today she is vice chairman of O-Ringen AB and board member of En Svensk Klassiker AB. Eva-Lena has a college education in business and currently holds the director’s position of the non-profit sports club Motala AIF, and is CEO of Vätternrundan Marknads AB and Motala Idrottspark AB.

”I very much look forward to my new work and challenges at Vasaloppet, and it will be very stimulating to work with running and skiing, in addition to cycling. I’ve had 12 fantastic years at Vätternrundan and their organizations,” says Eva-Lena Frick.
Eva-Lena will be moving to Mora and assumes her position at Vasaloppet on January 1, 2016.
