How to contribute – we're rebuilding Vasaloppet, metre by metre

Vasaloppet's central warehouse in Mora burned to the ground on the night between November 3 and 4. A massive amount of materials, valued in the millions of crowns, went up in smoke. Many have contacted us, wanting to help and contribute, and we are extremely grateful. With joint efforts, we are rebuilding Vasaloppet together – metre by metre.

We’re working against the clock and it will be hard but with a little extra help we’re fully set on welcoming all skiers to our twelve 2023 ski races, including the 99th Vasaloppet on Sunday, March 5. There will be blueberry soup, number bibs, ski tracks and a great atmosphere this winter too!

One of the best ways to contribute to Vasaloppet’s continued operations, while doing yourself and your health a great service, is to sign up for one of our races. Getting more participants who are hyped to ski, cycle and run in the Vasalopp Arena next year gives us motivation while also fuelling our work to restore everything after the fire.

TAKE ME TO REGISTRATION >

Those who want, both companies and private individuals, can make a financial contribution. Each metre in the Vasaloppet Arena symbolizes 25 SEK. Choose how many metres you want to contribute and send your gift via invocie or card payment, helping us rebuild materials that were lost in the fire, and allowing us to quickly prepare the Vasaloppet Arena for the winter of 2023. Every contribution matters; how many Vasaloppet metres can we get together?
(The information is only avalible in Swedish but just pull the slider or input the number of metres you want to donate. Then push the green button to complete your donation)

Vasaloppet will also organize locally in Mora to be able to receive practical help on location. Are you ready for some woodworking, making and painting fences or mounting signs? Send an email to info@vasaloppet.se and register your interest.

We will document the reconstruction after the fire and send updates on vasaloppet.se and via our social channels.
