Keep training – summer 2021 plans is in full swing
The pandemic continues to affect the world and create challenges for society at large, and so too for Vasaloppet. With nearly four months to go until the summer races in the Vasaloppet Arena, planning and preparation is in full swing.
Spring is here and with it comes opportunities for wellness and wonderful training out in nature. Vasaloppet is now hard at work with, among other things, preparing the Vasaloppet Arena for the summer activities with hiking, cycling and running.
”We hope that you keep training out there and work to reach your goal of cycling or running in forefathers’ tracks with us this summer,” says Johan Eriksson, CEO of Vasaloppet.
Vasaloppet’s Summer Week 2021 consists of 12 races and over 14,000 registered participants so far.
”In striving to arrange the best possible experience for participants we will unfortunately need to wait a few more week before giving a final word on what form the summer events will take. We all need to be patient right now so we urge you to wait with us and to keep training, gathering energy and inspiration from spring and light,” says Johan Eriksson.
More information on the practicalities of the Vasaloppet Summer Week 2021 will be published towards the end of May. If you’re registered for any of our races you will be notified via email.
