Nattvasan 2025: Your perfect ”Black Friday” experience!

Although there are no special night-time discounts, participants will experience the magical atmosphere of Dalarna’s winter landscape. Who needs the crowded fluorescent-lit stores when you can glide under the stars and new moon – and maybe feel the whisper of history?

This historic terrain has much to tell. It was in these woods, 504 years ago, that Gustav Eriksson Vasa fled under the cover of night, pursued by Danish soldiers. Perhaps you’ll spot some mysterious shadows in the forest as you ski through the same dark, mythical nature that Gustav once traversed.

So forget long queues and stressful shopping trips – strap on your skis, load up on energy, and head out for Nattvasan 2025, your best and most exciting Black Friday ever. Now is the time to find out if you, too, can conquer this challenge!

Choose between the three Nattvasan races 2025
Nattvasan 30 > participate in pairs or individually. ”An adventure for everyone – young and old.”
Nattvasan 30 starts at 19:00 in Oxberg.

Nattvasan 45 > participate in pairs or individually. ”Half distance, full challenge.
Nattvasan 45 starts at 20:00 in Oxberg.

Nattvasan 90 > participate in pairs or individually. ”History’s greatest adventure.”
Nattvasan 90 starts at 20:00 in Sälen.

Youth discount
Adventurous young participants are welcome in Nattvasan 2025: you can participate in Nattvasan 30 from the year you turn 11, in Nattvasan 45 from the year you turn 13, and in Nattvasan 90 from the year you turn 17. NOTE: Those aged 16 and below only pay a 345 SEK registration fee in Nattvasan 30 and Nattvasan 45. So there’s a proper Friday discount after all!

Participating as a pair or as individuals?
Nothing prevents two or more participants from registering individually and skiing together – that way, the fastest skier doesn’t need to wait, and each participant can complete the race at their own pace. However, if you register as a pair (a team of two), both participants must cross the finish line within 20 seconds of each other. Both participants must also complete the race for the team to receive a finishing time.

Nattvasan in Vasaloppstrippeln and En Svensk Klassiker
About 10–15 percent of those aiming to complete Vasaloppstrippeln 2025 have registered for one of the Nattvasan races. Nattvasan 30, 45, and 90 count as a segment in Vasaloppstrippeln 30, Vasaloppstrippeln 45, and Vasaloppstrippeln 90. Additionally, Nattvasan 30, 45, and 90 can be included in the various distances of En Svensk Klassiker.
