Personalized number bibs available for both Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan 2026
All participants in Vasaloppet and Tjejvasan now have the opportunity to order a personalized number bib. These unique bibs have been available in Vasaloppet for a couple of years; Tjejvasan will see them for the first time 2026.
The personalized bibs, printed with both first and last names, were introduced in 2024 for the 100th Vasaloppet.
“Our personal bibs have become very popular, and the system has worked well from an administrative point of view, so now it’s time to offer the same opportunity to participants in Tjejvasan. We know this has been requested,” says Daniel Mäkinen, Vasaloppet’s Event Lead.
The personalized bibs are of the same vest-style model used by elite skiers. In addition to the race name, year, start number and participant name, the bib also shows the number of the race – 102 for Vasaloppet and 38 for Tjejvasan – along with a flag indicating the participant’s nationality.
“Many people like to collect memorabilia from their achievements, and that’s possibly one reason why the personal bibs have become so popular. They’re a truly unique keepsake to take home from Mora, maybe even to hang on your wall. And when everyone along the course can see your name, you’ll be cheered on personally all the way,” says Daniel Mäkinen.
The personalized bibs are available in limited quantities and can be ordered while supplies last, or no later than November 30, 2025. Orders can be placed via My Pages on vasaloppet.se or when registering for Vasaloppet or Tjejvasan 2026. The numbering series for personalized Vasaloppet bibs will be 20000–22026 and it will not be linked to start groups (entry to the correct start group will be checked via the timekeeping chip). The numbering series for Tjejvasan will begin at 20000 (start group entry in Tjejvasan is checked by functionaries in Oxberg).
The price for a personalized number bib vest is 499 SEK.
