Welcome to register to the 100th Vasaloppet and the Vasaloppet’s Winter Week 2024. Right now all the races (except Vasaloppet) has an early bird discount up until March 19.
The 100th Vasaloppet takes place on Sunday, March 3, 2024 and will of course be celebrated in several ways! A unique 100-year medal will be presented to all participants in Vasaloppet 2024 and there is a plan to recreate different environments in the Vasaloppet Arena, reminiscent of the decades that have passed since then. Prepare to have an inspiring experience in a historic race!
Besides the 100th Vasaloppet, 2024 also has an exciting change: Starting next year, participants in Öppet Spår Monday can, in addition to picking classic ski style or skate, choose the distance they want to ski, picking between 28, 43 or 90 kilometres.
”Skating has become increasingly popular and many have asked for an opportunity to skate shorter distances during the day. Starting in 2024, we are bringing even greater flexibility to Öppet Spår Monday, which we think will appeal to many,” says Tommy Höglund at Vasaloppet.
For those who choose 90 kilometres, the Öppet Spår Monday start will be in its usual location in Berga by in Sälen at 07:00. The start for those skiing 43 kilometres will be at the Evertsberg checkpoint 09:00–09:30 and those skiing 28 kilometres will start at the Oxberg checkpoint 09:00–09:30.
All Öppet Spår Monday distances can be counted as part of Vasaloppstrippeln and also in En Svensk Klassiker.

Vasaloppstrippeln – ski, bike and run Vasaloppet in one year
Vasaloppstrippeln, the Vasaloppet trifecta, is a challenge where participants complete three Vasaloppet races during one calendar year. Ski, bike and run 30, 45 or 90 kilometres in forefathers’ tracks.
