Visma Ski Classics and Swedish public service broadcaster SVT sign a media right agreement
The long distance ski championship, Visma Ski Classics, have recently signed the media rights for Sweden with Sveriges Television, SVT. They will start broadcasting already the coming weekend when the tour moves to Sgambeda in Livigno, Italy. The agreement with SVT is the fifth this season with a public service broadcaster, after NRK, YLE, Czech TV and TVP.
“We are delighted being able to add Visma Ski Classics to our already strong portfolio of winter sports.” Says Max Bursell Head of Planning at SVT sport.
“From our side the agreement with SVT is an important part of a strategy in order to have Visma Ski Classics reach out to as many fans as possible in the key markets. We are sure that SVT will help us to develop the tour even further, and hope for a long relationship.” Says David Nilsson CEO Visma Ski Classics.
