Welcome to Ungdomsvasan!

Ungdomsvasan offers two distances. Those aged 15–16 start in Hökberg and ski 19 km to Mora. The younger participants, ages 11–12 and 13–14, start in Eldris and ski 9 km.

You collect your number bib the day before in Mora or at the start before the race. At both start locations, you have the option of getting a bag for your outer clothes, which will be safely transported to Mora. The race starts in joint class groups in both Hökberg and Eldris. Arrive in good time!

Along the Vasaloppet track, there are refreshment checkpoints serving water and sports drink. Participants skiing 9 km have one checkpoint, while those skiing 19 km have three – Läde, Eldris and Hemus. Blueberry soup is also served in Eldris. Toilets are available at the start areas in Hökberg and Eldris.

There are no cut-off times in Ungdomsvasan, and the focus is on everyone having fun! A good tip is to look carefully before changing tracks and leave the left-hand track free for overtaking. The basic rule is: Keep to the right, overtake on the left!

When you begin to glimpse the church tower in Mora, you’ll know the home stretch is near and that you’ll soon experience the magical feeling of crossing the finish line under the historic portal. After finishing, you’ll receive your well-earned medal and be offered drinks and refreshments. You can leave your skis in the ski deposit and take the free bus to the showers at Prästholmens IP, where your bag will be waiting. Afterwards, you can return to the finish area to collect your diploma and skis and celebrate with family and friends!

Every finish is a victory. See you on the track!
