Bus tickets for the 2016 summer races are now on sale
We recommend that all participants take the bus to the start location. Buy your ticket to Vasaloppet's official bus transports through vasaloppet.se. By taking the bus you can be sure to arrive at the start on time.
The sale of bus tickets for the summer bike and running races has now opened. Tickets are sold here at vasaloppet.se, but also in connection with the events in Vasaloppet’s House, by the entrance to the buses in Mora, and at the competition offices in Sälen and Mora.
If you buy your ticket at the bus we cannot guarantee a place, which is why we advise you to buy in advance through the website or at the competition offices in Mora or Sälen. Tickets are available in limited numbers. The journey between Mora and Oxberg takes about 45 minutes; the journey between Mora and Sälen takes about 2 hours. Buses depart continuously as they fill up. Note that there are two different kinds of departures; at fixed times and continuously between those times.
In Mora buses depart from the Mora Meeting Place, close to Vasaloppet’s House, and in Sälen buses depart from the start location. Buses and material transports leave from the same places during the summer, though bikes are sent by truck. Buses going from Mora back to Sälen after the race will first stop at the Vasaloppet start and finally in Lindvallen. When getting on the bus, feel free to tell the bus driver where you want to get off.
